Silva Badalian Is a License Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Hello. I'm Silva, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with nearly 20 years of experience helping and guiding individuals in their healing journey.  My focus of practice is helping individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, parenting stress, childhood trauma and low self-esteem. To help with anxiety, I use mindfulness-based therapy, which is an evidence-based treatment that integrates meditation techniques and Eastern philosophies with Western psychology.  I will teach you mindfulness tools, including meditations, to reduce anxiety symptoms such as constant worrying, overthinking and fear of something bad happening.  I also use inner child healing work to help you understand the root of your current struggles to heal your inner child's wounds so that you can live a more authentic life. I will guide you through various exercises, including role-plays and visualization exercises to heal the wounds of your inner child. Once your inner child feels seen, heard, worthy, and loved, you will begin to live a more authentic life. The goal of therapy will be for you to feel more inner peace and your most authentic self.  In the first session, we will get to know each other and determine if we are a good fit for your healing journey. I will share with you more about my approach and will answer your questions. We will explore what brings you to therapy and ways in which I can support you to start feeling better. Fun fact about me: I love to dance, especially salsa and bachata!

Silva sees clients ages 18-60 on Telehealth.
